So i'm going to guess based on that jacket that you're doing a more modern take on King Kong (so maybe instead of some map we can have the guy carrying an IPAD LOL)
I actually kind of like the white face-faced monkey (the one in the middle). Like what Daniel said and combining what you told me in the car, there's this element of wanting to be more intellectual and human-like, and I think that monkey conveys that sort of sophistication. It also seems to reverse communicate what the original Kong had (we saw a hard exterior and soft interior), so maybe if you go with the white monkey face, your challenge would be to make him look scary and tough as well.
